In 1989 Food Thoughts was the pioneer of 'Fairtrade' Cocoa in partnership with Oxfam. Today, all of our ingredients are sourced direct from reputable companies with Fairtrade principles at their heart, supporting smaller businesses and single source wherever possible. For example our Organic Cocoa Beans are grown on small family farms in the Dominican Republic for Accredited Fairtrade Cooperatives who support community development and environmental protection programmes.
