There’s a new name on the Sydney removals market – Aussie Man Removals – and this particular firm has an interesting tale to tell. The parent company – Aussie Group - was actually born on the other side of the world in London, but boss Brian Burgess is a Sydney native and has chosen to start a branch of his hugely successful business back in Oz!
Brian first moved to London back in 2000 and three years later decided to set himself up in business - he bought a battered old van and started a company called Aussie Man & Van, offering removals across the city and beyond. This proved to be such a success that he was able to buy more vehicles and recruit some of his fellow countrymen to help him. The company now boasts over 100 staff and a fleet of 40 black and gold liveried vans that have become a familiar sight on the streets of the British capital.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Brian went on to expand his business and he is now the chairman of Aussie Group – a multi-faceted company that offers a range of services to clients across London, such as commercial cleaning, waste disposal and storage. His story has even appeared on Australian TV as part of a feature on Aussies running successful businesses in the UK.
Yet the next step in Brian’s expanding business empire has seen him start something a bit closer to his original home – Aussie Man Removals has launched to give Sydneysiders access to a removals Sydney company with the same professional and hard-working attitude that has proved such a hit in London!
