Pasadena, CA, June 29, 2011 - Foremay, Inc., a leader of technology innovation in solid state drive and one of the world’s Top 10 SSD OEMs, today announced volume shipping of its SATA 6 Gb/s solid state hard drive in its EC188 and SC199 SSD product families. The new SATA SSDs come with standard host interfaces of third generation SATA, also known as SATA 3.0, SATA III, SATA 6 Gb/s, or SATA 600. Foremay’s SATA 3 SSDs offer to the market the highest performance with a SATA interface, with sustained read/write speed up to 550/500 MB/s, and random read/write IOPS at 4kB file size up to 70,000/35,000.
