The Government of India has number of welfare programs to reach out to the people. There are many parts of the country where government welfare programs have not reached. Tarang, as a dedicated India NGO, concentrates on a very specific area. It helps children in the slums of Mumbai to improve their life style. Tarang offers free education in India to slum children.
As poverty in the slums of Mumbai manifests itself in a variety of ways, this area requires special attention. Tarang has identified this region to start its mission to educate every child in this planet. They have started their good work in the streets of Mumbai.
