The web site is designed to teach those new to the trade the basics while also containing useful tools and tips for veteran traders. If you are a veteran trader but still have nagging questions regarding options at the back of your mind, or you have not traded yet but can’t seem to find the time to learn more about options and start trading, this is the site for you.
The site contains thirteen major sections, namely: Calendar Spreads, Case Studies, Charting, Credit Spread, Delta Neutral, Index Options, Iron Condor, OPTIONS BASICS, OPTIONS GREEKS, Straddle & Strangle, Technical Analysis, Vertical Spreads, and VIX Volatility Index.
For those who are just beginning to trade options, all you have to do is go to the site and click on the Options Basics link. Here is where you’ll find a host of articles that will discuss to you the fundamentals of trading. The articles are written concisely and clearly to help the average reader grasp the fine points of trading without going through rocket science. If you are not familiar with the jargon, the articles will be especially helpful as each technical term is defined as simply as possible. You might want to exhaust all the articles here before beginning trading as here is where you’ll find just what exactly is Options, your obligations as a trader, the risks involved in trading, and the possible gains that you may get.
After the overview of trading options in the Options Basics section, the web site gives intermediate and advanced traders the nuts and bolts and the numbers that go into trading. Aside from informative articles, the rest of the site also gives readers the graphs to help in visualizing and understanding the trends. The Case Studies category gives unique occurrences in the world of trading and gives a possible explanation while gathering the readers’ take on the issue. The Options Greeks goes into an overview of each of the four most important variables (Delta, Gamma, Vega, and Theta - hence the Greek) that are the statistic factors to consider when trading.
