Sofa.com have launched a new monthly competition and you can enter this month for the opportunity to win a private Halloween film screening with champagne, cocktails and dinner for yourself and 20 friends. Sofa.com have built the coolest and most comfortable private cinema in London using their fantastic sofas and are decking the venue out for Halloween, and will even welcome you in fancy dress. The film night is at their showroom in Chelsea, West London.
If you would like to enter, all you have to do is submit a short re-enactment of your favourite, classic horror scene. Using a cast of one, or as many as you like, pick your own setting, wherever you want it to be, and film it on whatever gadget you have available. Remember, you’re the director and probably the cast too!
This is something you can really have fun with so have a go, upload it to the website http://www.sofa.com/filmnights/competition/submit and then get all your friends to vote for you so they get to come along and spend the evening with you in style!
The competition closes at the stroke of midnight on the evening of Sunday 24th October; whoever gets the most online votes wins the movie night of their dreams!
Terms and Conditions:
1.The promotion is only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Sofa.com. Their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. No purchase necessary to enter.
3. To enter: re-create a scene from a film linked to the relevant film theme of the month (details available on the website at www.sofa.com/filmnights) and upload at www.sofa.com/filmnights.
4.. Movies must be in mpeg, avi, WebM, 3GPP, .WMV, .FLV or mov format and a maximum of 20mb and can be up to a maximum of 2 minutes long. Films can be of any creative content: regular film, stop motion, animation etc, but must be linked to the stated film theme.
5. Promotion will run from 5.00pm 8th October 2010 until 11.59pm 24th October 2010 but may be extended at discretion of the Promoter.
6. All films submitted may be subject to moderation. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to upload or not upload any image and to remove any image already uploaded without giving reasons for the decision. The Promoter shall in particular refuse to upload any films for the following reasons:
a) Use of defamatory or malicious content
b) Any indecent or inappropriate content
c) Inclusion of other brands in a significant manner
d) Use of copyright materials, either visual or audio. (For full terms and conditions see the website)
