This is a result of using time honored traditions and the finest quality grapes and employing the latest technology combined with traditional way of wine production to produce some of the best brandy and fine cognac available anywhere in the world.
After sixty years, the Fine Cognac and Brandy produced by Samkon factory are known for their inimitable aromas, delicate accents, elegance, smoothness, unforgettable taste, and luxurious forms. The exquisite packaging is high quality and includes Portuguese stoppers, German metal lids, and French labels. According to Mr. Goroyan, “while manufacturing Brandies and cognac, perfection is considered to be a tradition”.
There’s something different about this Armenian brandy and cognac producer. Where ordinary brandies and cognacs are made using spirits that are kept in barrels for three to seven years, XO cognac and VSOP brandies and cognac are made by blending ten to thirty different cognac spirits or brandy spirits. It is made sure that these spirits are ten to thirty-three years old before blending. The alcoholic beverages produced by Samkon are a result of age long traditions, fine artisanship, master blenders. In using the best quality grape sorts and the Ararat valley waters, hot sun, and dry climate, they are able to offer the best brandy and fine cognac at VSOP and XO quality. The Armenian illustrious source of water is used in the manufacturing process that guarantees high-quality spirits production. These crystal-clear waters of Ararat valley and hot sun exposure are compulsory conditions for production of real Armenian brandy and cognac.
As told by Mr. Goroyan, Samkon LLC has its own vineyards and the liquor they manufacturer is produced by controlled eaux-de-vie distillations method. The products go through different aging stages from start to end so that quality at the time of shipment is guaranteed. Currently, Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, and Germany are importers of their products.
The Samkon factory located in Ararat valley of Armenia is equipped with some of the latest equipment for producing wine and their factory is supplied only high quality barrels from France, Germany, Cyprus, and Bulgaria. The complete cycle of cognac and brandy production includes storing of grapes, its processing, distillation of cognac and brandy spirits, aging of spirits inside oaken barrels, and spirits blending. Every step of cognac and brandy production is controlled by Samkon master blenders that use a traditional techniques and advanced technology to bring you the best. After all these processes, the brandies and cognacs are carefully bottled in some of the most exquisite bottles which are carefully assimilated in France.
