SOCOM developer with a new Resident Evil?

Game blog Kotaku reports that the Slant Six Games, SOCOM has made the games the U.S. Navy SEALs, Tactical Strike and Fireteam Bravo 3, may be involved in the development of a new Resident Evil game.
The new game, according to Kotaku called Resident Evil: Raccoon City, and shall be a team-based games. Kotaku says that this information comes from a document they have received, but gives no other details. The information should, in other words be taken with a grain of salt.
On her official website writes Slant Six that they are working on a "fantastic new project" for a new publisher partner, and Kotaku have found that several of their employees have added a non-announced multiplayer project on their LinkedIn profiles.
The developer should also have been searching for a Japanese translator / interpreter in March, which could indicate that the new publisher, their partner is Japanese - such as Resident Evil publisher Capcom.
