New York, New York and San Francisco, California ( prbd ) November 9, 2010 - Drs. Gloria and Heidi Horsley, on their nationally syndicated radio program, the “Open to Hope Show,” will announce the launch of their new website, http://opentohope.com.
The Open to Hope Foundation http://opentohope.com is a web-based bereavement community founded by Drs. Gloria and Heidi Horsley in memory of their son and brother, Scott. Open to Hope has launched a new state-of-the-art interactive web site. This content-rich site has extensive archives: over 500 radio programs, 2,500 articles, 100 YouTube videos, and numerous first-person stories that offer support for those who have suffered a loss.
"The site is unique," says Dr. Gloria Horsley. "It gives the bereaved a heart-based resource where both they and those working in the field of grief and loss can share their stories and their expertise." The Open to Hope site also gives professionals and students a window into the world of the bereaved, she said.
"We're excited about the launch," added Dr. Heidi Horsley. "We want to provide a virtual community where people can go 24/7 to connect, get help, and reach out to others, as they find hope again."
