Las Vegas, Nv- “The Back Room”, a gruesome and in -your -face independent film that pays homage to the Grindhouse thrillers popularized in New York City in the 1970's will be released on DVD in the U.S on November 25th.
“The reviews that we have received for the film have been phenomenal,” stated Tim Stover who directed “The Back Room.” “My production company 3DT Productions recently signed a distribution deal with Black Flag Pictures in Canada and I feel that the time is right to make “The Back Room” available on DVD for our fans here in the U.S.”
Black Flag Pictures Inc. is a Montreal-based independent film studio that releases feature films in the action, thriller, horror and science fiction genres. Founded in 2002, its reputation has been built on producing high quality films with low production budgets.
“The Back Room” will be distributed by Black Flag Pictures through retail channels and made available on DVD and digitally via Netflix Canada.
In the U.S, “The Back Room” DVD will be available online at Nomosa.com and 3DTonline.com.
The DVD is packed with fun and gorey extras including behind the scenes footage, bloopers and trailers.
The “Grindhouse Style” has been brought back to prominence by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez in 2007 with their films “Death Proof” and “Planet Terror.”
A journey into the mind of a serial killer, “The Back Room” is filled with blood, gore and highly disturbing images. Some of the content in the film is so disturbing that the “Christmas in the Back Room” trailer was banned from being distributed on some social media sites.
