The nominations for the 38th American Music Awards 2010 have been announced and Usher once again put the three prestigious winning trophies in wait for him to come and conquer them. According to the new list of nominations the "Nice and Slow" singer has been nominated for 3 American music awards followed by one in Rap/Hip-Hop category for Favorite Male Artist, and two in Soul/Rhythm & Blues Music category for Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album (Raymond V. Raymond).
The 32 years old singer when released its sixth studio album Raymond V. Raymond in March 2010 it immediately became his 3rd consecutive album to sit on the top of the US Billboard 200 chart. The heart touching song “OMG” from the album is his 9th number one hit song in the United States and the super success of this song made Usher the 4th singer of all time who gave number one hits in three consecutive decades. His latest song "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" from the extended play of Raymond V. Raymond also became an international hit.
The year 2010 is definitely a year of celebration for Usher in which he not only released an album that got international success but he is also announced as one of the 50 sexiest men alive by Glamour Magazine. Usher songs are extremely popular around the world and his first international single “OMG” from the latest album reached at number one in Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States. All songs from the album Raymond V. Raymond got incredible success in these countries and gave him a strong comeback.
Following the highest international response, the five time Grammy award winner has planned his international tour “OMG” to United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. The sale for Usher UK tour tickets has already been stared from 11th October. His tour to UK is first in six years and the sale of 100,000 tickets in day forced the global musical icon to add more dates for UK trip. Now Usher will perform 10 prestigious shows throughout January and February 2011 in Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, Sheffield and three shows at London’s prestigious O2 Arena.
Australia will be the next platform for the Usher to please his Australian fans with his melodious voice. His Australian trip will officially start from Perth on March 15 2011. The singer will perform his latest hits Raymond V. Raymond album along with his hits from the 90s. The sale of cheap Usher tickets for the Australian tour starts from October 25.
