Dr.Bedi of PSA ZERO ( http://www.psazero.com ) says, “The PSA (Prostate specific Antigen) is a test to monitor for the prostate cancer activity, while lipid profile is done to diagnose heart related disease. Heart disease can lead to sudden death of the victim, while prostate cancer does not. Prostate Cancer is a very slow growing tumor. He also quoted that, “A person who has high levels of cholesterol is easily prone to prostate cancer. There is always a direct relation with cholesterol and prostate cancer.”
Researchers have found that lower the level of cholesterol then lower is the PSA level. Regular management of cholesterol helps to cut the risk of prostate cancer. Study and research with various patients showed that the size of the tumor depends upon the amount of cholesterol present in the patient. Higher the level of cholesterol larger is the size of the tumor. Men who have lower amount of cholesterol are less prone to prostate cancer.
Mr. David Voss who has taken the PSA Zero ( http://www.psazero.com ) program comments, “The PSA zero program helped me to learn the anatomy and physiology of my prostate gland. I was regularly screen for prostate cancer through the PSA test. I have met some amazing people, learned how to be healthy and reduced stress. These benefits will allow my body to heal and my life to improve. Moreover they gave me advice on prevention of prostate cancer and avoidable treatment options available.”
1 of every 6 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer. In recent studies it is shown that due to various factors including genetics, lifestyle factors, food habits these numbers are increasing at alarming rates.
