After yesterday's Call of Duty riot, in which PlayStation 3 owners expressed strong dissatisfaction with the latest update to the "Black Ops" game creators have now responded to the criticism.
Treyarch admits that the game actually has problems. Yesterday tried community manager Josh Olin to lay the blame on the router and broadband, if you were one of those who complained of "Black Ops" update that was recently released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3
The online portion that had a powerful impact through the patch (called 1.04). And especially the PlayStation 3 version ended up in heavy imbalance, to say the least.
In the press lowered comment field hail it with dismay yesterday:
- "Black Ops" is perhaps the game that has disappointed me most in all my "gaming career". It flopped when it came, poor matchmaking, disappointing graphics, lousy spawnpoints - team deathmatch was a disaster!, Wrote one of our readers, before he concluded that he is one of those who felt that "Black Ops" has got problems after the latest update.
- Treyarch, from me to you: Find a new profession for this fix you do not!
Has spent the last hours of forum reading
Josh Olin has written a post on the official forums, where he tries to calm fears a bit.
- We are aware that many online gamers have experienced connection problems after Tuesday's patch.
- We have worked hard to find the cause and to fix it as soon as possible. We have already updated the game with a hot fix next Tuesday's release of the update, which has improved many of connectivity problems, and we have several such on the way so stay tuned, writes Olin.
He also advises not to delete the storage files, which it was rumored to clean up the problems that have arisen in the shooter in the last couple of days.
- It will not help, writes Josh Olin.
- Feedback from forums have been of great help. We've actually been on the forums to monitor feedback - and in many cases, worked directly with people from the community, so please, let the feedback flow, he urges.
- In the meantime, you will know that we are committed to doing everything we can to create the best online experience, and we work hard to resolve this issue.
Until then remains the PlayStation 3 multiplayer experience characterized by errors that the update brought with it. A similar patch is scheduled to be released for PC "later this week," Olin wrote on her Twitter for a few days ago.
