A Christmas Gift for Peugeot 307 CC Owners - Top Remote Control Now Available
Just in time for Christmas, the retrofit SmartTOP control module by Mods4Cars is now available for the Peugeot 307 CC. It allows opening and closing of the roof, even while driving at slow speeds, with a single touch of the button. Additionally the roof can be operated remotely from the original car key remote fob.

Ocean, NJ, December 20, 2010 -- The SmartTOP control module offered by aftermarket automotive specialist Mods4Cars ( http://www.mods4cars.com ) is available just in time for this year’s holiday season. It offers Peugeot 307 CC owners more convenience features for their vehicle: Open and close the convertible top remotely, with the original key fob remote. No separate fobs or reprogramming of the existing ones is necessary.
Thanks to the SmartTOP module operating the roof from the center console button also got easier: The One-Touch feature and the ability to open or close the roof while driving up to speeds of up to 40 km / h (28mph) add more fun to the drive. These functions encourage drivers to make more use of their tops - the awkwardness of having to stop and holding down the button is gone.
A setup menu makes it possible to configure all of the module’s features to taste - using the in-car LCD screen. The individual functions of the roof control and their options are displayed in plain text. "We have succeeded in seamlessly integrating the configuration of our top control module into the vehicle system." says PR spokesman Sven Tornow. "We offer our customers a simple and convenient way to customize the SmartTOP module according to their personal desires." he continues.
The latest development from Mods4cars ( http://www.mods4cars.com ) also provides a mode in which an ongoing top operation is not interrupted by starting or stopping the engine. Additionally it is possible to close all four windows automatically with just one short push on the center-console button or from the outside via the original key remote fob.
All SmartTOP modules are equipped with a standard USB port for easy firmware updates as well as configuration in conjunction with a Windows program, both offered free of charge.
With this latest addition to the product portfolio, there is now a SmartTOP module available for each of the three popular Peugeot convertibles, 207CC, 307CC and 308CC.
Other car brands SmartTOP Modules are available for include Alfa, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Ford, Mazda, Mercedes, Mini, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Volvo and Volkswagen - the company Mods4cars ( http://www.mods4cars.com ) offers a SmartTOP comfort module for almost all coupe and roadster models.
