The approval for a business name can be known a few minutes after it has been forwarded. Local investors should be ready to labor for many hours seeking for ACRA’s approval for a business name. Such is not the case among foreign investors. They cannot administer the process of registering a business name and registering a company by themselves unless they hold a blue card, Singapore Personal Access card, National Identity card, or any labor passes.
