Scottsdale, AZ, January 19, 2010 -- Discover France lets you cycle the Pyrenees while enjoying the excitement of the Tour de France with backstage access. As an official tour operator of the Tour de France, Discover France takes clients where few others get to go. Their Moderate Pyrenees VIP Cycling Tour offers many activities like prime seating to watch the pro peloton and pictures on the race podium all while getting to cycle the Pyrenees. Cyclists will get to ride the very same routes as the pro riders of the tour.
This moderate cycling offer is for those who ride a lot for fun and want to cycle the Pyrenees at the Tour de France but also want time to enjoy some luxurious lodging, gastronomic dining, fantastic sites, and the unique French countryside and culture! Discover France’s Moderate Pyrenees VIP Tour is unlike any other tour being offered. Find out all the details at their website:

Day1: Arrive in Clermont Ferrand and enjoy dinner at the hotel while getting acquainted with the guides and group.
Day 2: Hang out with former pros, media, and tour officials and team personnel prior to the stage in the VIP area known as the Village de l'Etape. Go for a ride after the pro peloton leaves St Flour.
Day 3: cycle the Pyrenees while the Tour de France pros take a rest day. Today’s route is the same as the stage of Etape du Tour Act II in 2011.
Day 4: Transfer to Toulouse. Enjoy a ride in the Toulouse area and stop along the way to watch part of the Tour.
Day 5: Another day to cycle the Pyrenees, but also attend the tour’s stage finish at The Izoard Bus. This experience puts clients at the finish line in a closed area except for VIP's, media, Tour officials, and, of course, authorized team personnel.
Day 6: Bastille Day in France! Ride the stage course and finish on the climb to Luz Ardiden under the finish line banner. After, get a photo taken on the race podium.
Day 7: One last day to cycle the Pyrenees while watching the pro peloton during the ride. Say goodbye to the group at a gastronomic dinner.
Day 8: Return to Toulouse for departure by train or air.
Options: Continue to Montpellier or the Alpes or Paris for more Tour de France excitement. Discover France offers VIP tours in these regions, as well.
