Apimac.com today is pleased to announce new versions of its highly successful iDatabase: 2.0 for Mac OS X ( http://www.apimac.com ) and 4.0 for iOS. Designed to permit wireless, bi-directional syncing between Mac computers and iOS mobile devices like iPhone and iPod touch, iDatabase is a complete personal database management solution. Ideal for tracking membership lists, expenses, projects, Internet accounts, etc., the app includes 16 ready to use templates such as Accounts, Contacts, Exercise Log, Recipes, and To Do. Drop and drag creation of custom templates is also supported.
Virtually identical in features, layout, and operation, iDatabase 4.0 for iOS and iDatabase 2.0 for Mac OS X complement each other to offer a personal database management solution both on the desktop and on the go. The clean, simplified GUI allows the user to begin using the app immediately, without instruction of any kind. Facilitating this ease of use is a built-in library of 16 templates: Accounts, Classes, Computers, Contacts, Customers, Events, Exercise Log, Expenses, Inventory, Movie Catalog, Membership List, Mobile Phones, Notes, Projects, Recipes, To Do, and Vehicle Maintenance. iDatabase ( http://www.apimac.com ) combines simplicity with sophistication in its support of custom templates. The app allows the user to select from 10 different fields.

The new features of version 2.0 for Mac are:

What is new in version 4.0 for iOS:
- Ability to duplicate a database containing all the records
- Ability to create a clone without records of an existing database
- Ability to export a database by email
- Ability to send one or more records via email as PDF, as a card or as a CSV file
- Ability to navigate through the records with new Previous and Next buttons
- New import preview view which allows you to define the fields and their labels, and to see a record preview before the import
