The dates for the largest ever world tour that Janet calls “Number Ones: Up Close and Personal” tour were revealed on Monday. There are just two months and few days left when baby sister of the legendary singer, Michael Jackson will kick start her new US tour on March 4, 2011 at Reliant Stadium, Texas. Janet Jackson new world road show will hit 35 global cities where she will perform 35 of her number one singles by dedicating a song to each city. The cities were picked up on her fans votes through her website.
The new “Number Ones: Up Close and Personal” tour by the “Doesn’t Really Matter" singer is highly anticipated and her fans immediately hunting for the cheap Janet Jackson tickets. However it is important to note that new tour of Janet will officially debut on February 4 where she will perform her first Asian concert at the PICC Plenary Hall of Pasay City in Philippines. She will be in Singapore on February 7 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium of the Kallang City. She will set the Indonesia’s temperature high with a lively concert at the BSJCC Plenary Hall Jakarta. She will perform her Valentine’s Day concert at HKCEC Hall 5BC, Wan Chai Hong Kong on February 14 and will wrap up Asian Leg of her tour on February 18 by performing her first ever tour in Taiwan at the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall of the Taipei city.
The R&B singer has promised to bring something new in each of her show so the no two shows even at two different venues will be the same. The 11th best selling female artist of US has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and is often in news for her not yet confirmed relationship with the much younger entrepreneur and millionaire, Wissam Al Mana and both were also reported to be getting engaged.
Janet Jackson who will turn 45 on May 16 still at this age has the power to raise fever and her tickets for the April 14 show at Los Angeles, CA were sold out in just ten minutes and to adjust the overwhelmed demand she and organizer added the second concert on April 14, 2011. Her US tour will cover the cities including Houston, Chicago, Washington, D.C and Las Vegas among others. She will arrive in Canada for a single concert in Toronto on March 13. Her tour will wrap up on April 23, 2011.
