CREED Inc. and MoreMarbles have partnered to launch a national business plan competition for university and college students. The competition begins February 1st and runs through March 31st. Students, working individually or in teams, fill out a 1-page business plan form on CREED's website and try to get others to vote for their plan in this real world project. The 10 plans with the most votes proceed to the final round of voting. The top 3 most-voted plans receive cash prizes to help launch their businesses.
To enter: To submit a business plan, participants can go to: http://www.creed-bplan.org , where they will register on the site, fill out the brief business plan form and donate a $50 entry fee to submit their plan. Entry fees will help sustain CREED's mission of supporting entrepreneurs. Part of the entry fee also goes towards the final cash prize.
Timing: CREED will begin accepting business plans starting on February 1st. Plans can be submitted until March 15th. First-round voting lasts for one week, through March 23rd. The 10 plans with the most votes proceed to round two. Voters have until March 31st to submit their final votes. The 3 plans with the most votes will be awarded as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners (based on the number of votes). Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three plans.
To win: The three business plans with the most votes will win cash prizes, of up to $5,000*. Anyone can vote for a business plan. Votes cost $10 each, or $100 for 12. Voting fees help support CREED's mission and also go towards the cash prize for the winners. Votes are made online, through CREED's secure website. To enter or to vote, click on the following link: http://www.creed-bplan.org
*Total cash prize depends on the number of entrants and the total votes submitted.
