Tim McGraw‘s expectations from his recently released movie “Country Strong” might be higher particularly after the supreme success of his latest flick “The Blind Side” that got nomination for best picture in Academy Award. But to singer’s disappointments his charm did not seem to work and movie is getting just OK reviews since its release on January 7, 2011. There is nothing much for Tim to act and film’s main attraction is the actress Gwyneth Paltrow who sung three new songs and a duet with McGraw as well. The plot of the movie is very weak however few of its songs managed to be on top though it includes no songs performed by Tim. However the most felt fact of the movie was that Tim did not wear his signature black cowboy hat and did not sing even a single note in the movie when the entire movie was about singing.
Tim, the high profile country singer has sold 40 million copies in his singing career and his latest album tilted “Number One Hits” was certified Gold in United States and till today it has sold more than 170,224 copies. His new number one single "Felt Good on My Lips” from the album was his 23 number one track making and it also made McGraw a singer with the most weeks at no 1 spot of the charts. The song occupied the Billboard's country songs chart for three weeks and beaten by the song "Somewhere with you" by another country singer and Tim’s best pal Kenny Chesney this week.
Tim McGraw married to his country singer wife Faith Hill has announced the dates of his new North American 2011 tour that "Live Like You Were Dying" singer calls “Emotional Traffic”.
