SMEketing is proud to have been entered into the Enterprising Young Brits 2010 awards, in the category of ‘New Start Up. The finalists will be announced during the week commencing the 22nd March 2010.

SMEketing, a Hampshire based marketing agency, is proud to announce their entry to the Enterprising Young Brits 2010 award. SMEketing was launched in 2009, and the company qualifies to enter under the ‘New Start Up’ category.
Run by Enterprise UK, in partnership with the Daily Mail, the Institute of Directors and the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills, the competition is open to anyone aged 30 and under who has made their idea happen in a new, innovative or inspiring way. Winners receive £1000 for their business, as well as valuable coverage in national media and an invitation to join the Enterprise UK Ambassador programme. As an Enterprise UK Ambassador they will get a chance to network with some of the UK’s top entrepreneurs and help us inspire the next generation of Richard Bransons and Anita Roddicks.
Victoria Walmsley, owner of SMEketing explains the importance of this award “Enterprising Young Brits is a fantastic way to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of young people in the UK. We are very interested in working with the charity to help inspire and encourage the next generation of business owners. The UK economy relies on people starting their own businesses; SMEketing help small and medium sized businesses succeed through effective marketing, but we’re keen to pass on our knowledge of starting and running a business to other too.”
Other categories include social, ethical or environmental businesses, teen businesses, and an open category for all others. The finalists will be announced during the week of the 22nd March.
