Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) recommends this 2.45GHz active beaconing RFID tag for on-Metal applications. This tag is also specially designed for asset tracking, warehouse and inventory management. In a typical application a tag ID is loaded into the RFID reader which then signals. When the tag with that ID receives the signal it will begin beckoning by flashing its built-in LED. The tag also has an anti-tampering mechanism. It will send an alert if it is removed from the asset.
The tag, model 127005, implements GFSK modulation and bi-directional communication mode providing such commands as addressing command and stop addressing command. It offers a transmit range of up to 30 meters at the rate of 100 tags per second and simultaneous identification of up to 2000 tags. The RFID tag transmits ID every 2 seconds. Encapsulated within an ABS case, it performs well even when it is mounted on metal surfaces such as iron and aluminum.
