Cheltenham, Gloucestershire February 18, 2011 – From March 5th to the 19th the city of Bath in the United Kingdom will be host to one of the longest running amateur art and cultural festivals. The Mid Somerset Festival is taking place in Bath and is expected to bring in hundreds of young performers and artists. The festival has been held continually since 1902 and has taken over the cultural centers of Bath since 1952. There are several categories in which students and participants can compete. Speech and Drama, Creative Writing, Music, Dance and Musical Theater categories offer competition to the best artistic talents in the United Kingdom. The city of Bath will host this amazing festival over a two week period.
Persons who are attending the Mid Somerset Festival this year will need to find accommodations in the city of Bath for the two week period.
