These days, there’s a lot of confusion, frustration and headaches when it comes to trying to start your own online business. Allow these simple tips to help you to make much wiser and more effective online business decisions for yourself and your customers / clients.

Los Angeles, CA - February 22, 2011 -- 1: Look Before You Leap: Do yourself a favor and do some deep and diligent research and investigation before simply jumping into some so called “business opportunity” that is supposedly going to make you rich. Check to make sure that the offer and the person behind the offer is legitimate and ask for referrals from and possibly a chance to speak with others who have already been in the business with some success under their belt.
2: Count The Costs Before You Buy In: There are many so called “Get Rich Quick” schemes that tell you that all you have to do is pay X amount of dollars and you will be well on your way to making money hands over fist. Ask directly for the entire cost of the whole package, put in writing before you spend a single penny. These “Get Rich Quick” tricks are usually not designed to help get YOU rich, but are set in motion to get the one who is selling the business rich, by stringing you along with additional costs, fees and upgrades.
3: Follow Your Own Unique Dreams, Visions & Passions: Do ONLY what you truly LOVE and are naturally good at and have fun doing. If it isn’t fun and exciting enough for you and your customers / down-line to truly enjoy doing, then it’s just a stupid job.
Fun and excitement are clearly palpable and contagious and people are quite naturally drawn to want to be around it. People are also naturally and instinctively wary of and determined to avoid a business that isn’t really very interesting, inspiring and worthy of their time, energy and efforts.
So be sure to do your research and find out everything you can about an online business before you decide to just jump in and hope for the best. Get all of the costs involved in doing the business, written out in a clear, easy to understand invoice format and make sure that it is signed and dated to protect yourself from getting ripped off. Make sure that the business is something that you truly find interesting, have a natural gift for doing as well as interest in. Only do what you would truly enjoy and have fun doing.
