Workshop for Faculty Members Organized at SMS Varanasi
School of Management Sciences has always been a pioneer in providing quality education to students and enhancing the knowledge level of faculty members. In this direction, a workshop was organized to have clarity of role and responsibilities of the faculty members. Dr.B.R.Singh, Ex Director (HR), Ispat Industries, Mumbai was the chief guest on this occasion.

School of Management Sciences has always been a pioneer in providing quality education to students and enhancing the knowledge level of faculty members. In this direction, a workshop was organized to have clarity of role and responsibilities of the faculty members. Dr.B.R.Singh, Ex Director (HR), Ispat Industries, Mumbai was the chief guest on this occasion. Dr.Singh, who is a renowned Management Consultant at Mumbai, shared his experiences of 35 years in the corporate world. He emphasized on ethical leadership and vision of the organization in order to achieve the desired position in long run. He quoted the examples of Reliance, Tata, Birla and plenty of other business groups who have grown because of their clear vision and ethical leadership. He also deliberated upon the importance of integrity, commitment and passion in work in order to become successful.
Dr. Singh, who also happens to be an alumnus of the prestigious Faculty of Management Studies, BHU and a student of the Founder Director of SMS Varanasi Late Prof. Mukund Lal, shared his memorable experiences of college life and said how they were always keen to attend the lectures of renowned professors.
Earlier, the programme started with a welcome speech of Director Prof. P.N.Jha and the sessions were coordinated by senior faculty member Dr. Sanjay Saxena. Registrar of the institute Mr. Sanjay Gupta and all the faculty members of management and computer department were present on this occasion and got benefited. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Sanjay Saxena.
