Backstreet Boys used to be the most promising music group among other musical bands when they all were on the peak of their careers in 1990s. The best selling group has reunited with one of their rival group New Kids on the Block and the spokesmen of both bands announced their collaborative tour that will kick start in summer 2011. The merger of two bands is being called NKOTBSB and features Joey McIntyre, A.J. McLean, Jordan Knight, Howie Dorough, Jonathan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Littrell, Danny Wood and Nick Carter. The collaboration of two male bands was formed after they performed together at the American Music Awards in November and then on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
The opening date for the NKOTBSB is coming closer and BSB is going through a rough phase as their guitarist has checked himself into rehab for the third time. He went to rehab first time in 2001 and again 1n 2002 to battle his drug and alcohol addiction. However according to AJ his entrance to rehab wont affect the Backstreet Boys tour and he is just there for some personal reasons.
Shortly after AJ made his way to rehab, Aaron Carter, the younger brother of the lead vocalist of BSB Nick Carter made his road to rehab on January 23, 2011. Through Nick has nothing to do with NKOTBSB but it might disturb Nick from inside until his singer brother returns home.
The five time Grammy awards nominated band has sold over 130 million records worldwide and will begin their North American “NKOTBSB” tour along with New Kids on the Block in June 2011. The most sought after tour of 2011 includes major stops at Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Venezuela, Panama, and UK.
Backstreet Boys has confirmed their two concerts at Vietnam; first at HCM City’s Military Zone 7 on March 24 and second at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium on March 26. These concerts are part of BSB’s “This Is US” tour that band started in autumn 2009 to perform 120 shows in all the big cities of the world. The band is said to perform songs from their old album including I Want It That Way, I’ll Never Break Your Heart and Straight through My Heart.
Howie Dorough, the oldest member of BSB band is also working on his first solo album and his lead single from the debut album will go on shoot in Los Angles this February. Buy cheap Backstreet Boys tickets to enjoy their concerts tour live.
