50 minutes from Geneva Internationl Airport, and 40 minutes from the spectacular Lake Annecy, this 18th century village sits above the ancient town of Le Grand Bornand.
In winter, the area offers 220km of runs and is linked by pistes, ski lifts and ski busses to both Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz.
In summer, the area offers a multitude of outdoor activities, 200km of mountain biking tracks, extensive hiking routes, golf, canyoning, paragliding and several outdoor acquatic centers and nearby lakes.
The resort rises up to 2100m and the summits of Mont Lachat and La Floria offer stunning panoramic views of the Aravis range.
Le Chinaillon village itself has maintained an authentic and traditional alpine style and offers everything you need ; supermarket, bakers, butchers, patisserie, numerous fine restaurants offering local and international food, sports shops, hire shops, clothes shops, pharmacy, doctors, tourist office, cinema and a regular bus service to Grand Bornand (10mins) where you will find an even larger selection of facilities and a weekly local market.
