Weber represented Austria for three years in the European Cup and World Cup teams, leading the successful skier to turn “pro,” and join the U.S.A. and Japan tour for six years. He became the youngest ski race winner at the time. At the age of twenty-seven, Weber left the skiing world and joined Swarovski, internationally known for sharp-cut crystal. Weber’s ingenious vision was ignited when he founded the company Westa with Alexander Stabinger to create beautiful jewelry.
