In rings jewelry two materials always come to mind - these are silver and gold. Their cost has always been deterrent but now we have equally stunning but more affordable options in titanium and meteorite rings.
Titanium as a jewelry material is not widely known as it is a very hard and strong metal, in fact it is three times stronger than steel, hence very hard to work with. In the same breath, titanium is a light material, only slightly heavier than aluminium. With the advent of technology however, it is now easier to work this metal and the result is very beautiful titanium rings which are light, comfortable to wear, and non reactive with the skin as titanium is hypoallergenic unlike gold or silver for some people.
Boonerings.com has taken advantage of these new technologies to come up with titanium rings polished to achieve a shiny mirror finish unlike previously when nothing much could be done about its lackluster gun-metal appearance. Laser technology means that these rings can now be engraved with all sorts of impressions to the liking of the buyer. Boone’s titanium rings collection also features rings embellished with inlays such as hardwood, carbon fiber, Mokume Gane, and precious stones among others. The titanium metal employed is of the highest grade - Grade five - which is synonymous with 6Al4V aerospace titanium and Super 8-1-1.
Meteorite rings from boonerings.com are created from an actual asteroid, the Gibeon Meteorite, which is located in Namibia. This four billion year meteorite fell on earth some thirty thousand years ago. It has beautiful patterns called the Widmanstatten lines which are unlike any other found among earth’s different metals. The crystalline patterns as well the billion years associated with this meteorite are what make meteorite rings especially perfect for engagement or wedding rings as they symbolize everlasting love. The various designs available are also suitable for persons of all ages, tastes and preferences.
Meteorite rings from boonerings.com are mainly a combination of meteorite and mirror shine-finished titanium. This makes for a very long lasting ring which will resist dents, scratches and dings for many years to come. These futuristic rings, being a rare type of jewelry, are a very unique gift idea. They are also pocket-friendly compared to the prices of gold or silver. Go ahead and visit boonerings.com and feast your eyes on a perfect example of sterling exquisite jewelry.
Note to Editors:
Boone Titanium Rings was started as Boone Technologies by Bruce Boone back in 1993. It started out as a hobby which developed into a full-time job of creating bike parts using titanium. In 1997 there was a collapse in the after-parts market and Boone went on to work for GT Bicycles as programmer for their bike tube laser cutting machine. GT was bought by Schwinn in late 1998 and later went down. Subsequently, Boone went back to his business and together with two other artists he now makes titanium rings on a full time basis.
