Construction industry professionals, engineers, architects, builders, project managers and others involved in the booming construction industry in the Middle East region, now have a forum where they can interact with international experts, leading government and civic au-thorities and learn about the new legislations, safety guidelines, issues and trends impacting their industry.
In association with the UAE Society of Engineers, Epoc Messe Frank-furt, organiser of Hardware+Tools Middle East 2011 - the region’s only dedicated trade and networking event for the hardware, tools, ma-terials and machinery industries - are organising the Middle East Construction Forum to run alongside the trade event.
The Forum is a series on workshops, seminars and interactive ses-sions scheduled to run during Hardware+Tools Middle East 2011, which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 10 to 12. Delegates can benefit from the views and inputs of leading international and regional experts in the construction field.
“Given that the construction industry is going through a series of changes in the way it does business, the Middle East Construction Forum running alongside Hardware+Tools Middle East – a specialised gathering of construction industry professionals in the region – will address key issues and concerns impacting the industry,” said Ahmed Pauwels, Chief Executive Officer of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “We are grateful for the support of the UAE Society of Engineers and their valuable insight into the regional industry’s concerns. We are sure that the Forum will be of great help to the professionals of the Middle East,” he added.
The Forum will be held over two days. The programme for the first day will be dedicated to project managers and engineers, while the second day will see topics tailored to the needs of consultants and contractors.
Mr. Maged Farouk Hanna, General Manager, UAE Society of Engineers, said: “Hardware+Tools Middle East is a great platform for hosting such an educational event. We are constrantly reaching out to the engineers of the region encouraging and facilitating them to keep abreast of the latest industry trends. Our aim at organising such a forum is to promote and support the engineering and construction industry in the United Arab Emirates and contribute to its success.”
Each participant will receive certificates for attaining PDUs (Professional Development Units) which are certified from PMI (Project Management Institute in U.S.) and attendance certificates. The PDUs are an essential tool for keeping up to date within the industry and are a key asset on curriculum vitaes for industry professionals.
