Latisse is a drug that is applied to the base of your eyelashes and makes them grow. It is produced by Allergan, the makers of Botox, and was granted FDA approval in 2008. Millions of units have been sold and a huge following has built up.
Latisse is being launched in the UK by Mylash, the UK experts in lash growth.
Although Mylash currently offers treatment to grow your eyelashes using bimatoprost, the same active ingredient as Latisse, Mylash thinks that the Latisse brand will help attract customers.
'People follow the US market looking for the next big thing and many will have heard about Latisse. The treatment we currently offer has the same active ingredient but we feel that additionally offering Latisse will help attract customers.' said Dr Walker, director of Mylash.
Mylash has been the celebrity eyelash secret in London for the past 18 months with supermodels, pop stars and royalty using the service.
Mylash will provide Latisse in the UK online. All consultations are reviewed by British doctors before a prescription is issued.
The average results for Mylash or Latisse is a 25% increase in length, 106% increase in thickness and 18% darker lashes.
