Ptosis is usually identified as the form of ‘drooping eyelid’. It might relate to the drooping of one or to both the eyes. The droop might appear not very visible in both some of the cases or also in others. Nevertheless, the lid may even move down over the intact pupil. This problem occurs to several people including both children and adults, but it is commonly known to be occurring as a straight effect of old age. The earliest and the most apparent symptom are of the drooping eyelid. Founded on how dangerous the droop is, an individual with this problem may even have conditions with their capacity to see. A victim to this condition has to suffer from many symptoms and complications. In few cases, people with this probelm have to hold their head to the backward direction for seeing any object under the lid. In some cases.
The term pterygium derived from the Greek word “pterygion” which means as ‘wing’. It is usually identified to strike the nasal passage of cornea; and it will commonly be bilateral.
