* The number one tip with makeup is to always find what works best for you. We all have our own unique features and skin type and this will determine the type of makeup techniques we should use. A look that works for one person might not work well for another person so this is an important thing to remember. In order to find what works best for you, you will need to experiment. It is probably best not to get too fancy.
* If you are looking for makeup that is going to loom appealing and fresh then you need to make a point of cleaning your skin properly before you begin. Your look will not be good if you apply your makeup on top of dirty skin. Make sure that you purchase a good face cleaner and use this before applying your makeup. Always choose a skin cleaner rather than soap because it does a much better job.
* Another important part of your routine should be moisturiser. You will find that dry skin does not look very nice so you should make a point of applying moisturiser every day.
* It is important to be moderate when using blusher so that you just look as though you have a healthy glow. It is always going to be more attractive to look natural.
* It is also important to choose a lipstick that looks natural. And if you want more sensual looking lips then you might want to go for a lip gloss as well.
* Choosing light eye makeup instead of bright colours can be much more effective. The reason for using eye shadow is to highlight your eyes; you should not be distracting from them.
