STAR Pravah presents ‘Meswak prastut Ideachi Kalpana’

STAR Pravah presents ‘Meswak prastut Ideachi Kalpana’
May 13, 2011: Have you been longing for a good laugh? Can’t find anything in the movie listings to tickle your funny bone? Tune in to STAR Pravah on May 15 to catch the World Television Premiere of Meswak prastut Ideachi Kalpana, the rip-roaring comedy from a renowned director Sachin Pilgaonkar.
Ideachi Kalpana brings together three comedy stars, Ashok Saraf, Sachin pilgaonkar and Mahesh Kothare , after a long time on screen, resulting in an all-round giggle-fest. Jayram (Sachin Pilgaonkar) is a struggling actor who is looking for a break through his dancing talent. One day, during a dance competition held in memory of Late Laxmikant Berde, he offers his chance to Priti ( Bhargavi Chirmule) who is the sister of Police Commissioner Mahesh Thakur (Mahesh Kothare). Jayram is hit by Priti’s car, after the show and is admitted to the hospital. His sister Jaiwanti (Nirmiti Sawant) gets worried, but his brother -in -law advocate - Manohar Barshinge is struck with an Ideachi kalpana and suggests Jayram to pose as if he is severely injured in the spinal region, where he already has an injury during his childhood. His only motive is to grab the attention of Priti as he falls in love with her and this results in creating complications for both the commissioner and the advocate.
The film stars Sachin, Ashok Saraf, Mahesh Kothare, Bhargavi Chirmule and Nirmiti Sawant. Presented and Produced by Everest Entertainment Pvt Ltd. and Sushriya Chitra respectively, the film is brilliantly directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar. While the story and dialogues are written by Kshitij Zarapkar, the music is given by Avdhoot Gupte. The cinematography is superbly done by Rahul Jadhav.
The film delivers a great series of comedy sequences. Ashok Saraf, Mahesh Kothare and Sachin complement each other well with excellent comic timing.
Give yourself some light relief and don’t miss the family comedy Meswak prastut Ideachi Kalpana that offers an old wine in a new bottle, premiering on STAR Pravah on May 15 at 7 pm.
