Although coldasice.tv ( http://coldasice.tv/ ) revolves around the lives of 3 professional female skiers, they will continue to drop edits year round. The girls of Cold As Ice TV are just as active during their off season and will continue to feed their hungry fans webisodes of their antics throughout the summer. Jaymo from title sponsor GoPro said, “The Cold As Ice crew are the best. They have integrated our cameras into their everyday lives, recording and capturing, their most exciting moments. They exemplify GoPro's functionality and everyday usability with sheer perfection! They are, and always have been, an absolute pleasure to work with........(not to mention cute and fun).”
ColdAsIce.TV is winding up their first winter of production by releasing their 50th webisode. A celebratory edit that looks back at some of the best footage from the first 50 videos, CAI turns 50 puts a fun twist on some footage that viewers of the site know and love. The 50th edit contains skiing footage, lifestyle footage, and you’ll want to watch the credits for a special fan favorite who makes a return.
ColdAsIce.TV is the culmination of 3 super rad pro skiers, Grete Eliassen, Keri Herman, and Meg Olenick. The crew of professional female skiers has not only pushed the envelope of skiing this year, but also developed some much loved content off the mountain. With reoccurring webisodes of “ColdAsIceTV Cribs” where fans get an inside look into the digs the girls stay at as they travel, “Chairlift Confessionals” where the girls get random confessions from their pro friends and industry insiders, and more, the fans of the Cold As Ice TV NEVER know what to expect from edit to edit. Sometimes they get sick skiing footage and others they get someone confessing about peeing in the shower (“Grete Learns the Golden Rule” )
"Meg, Keri and I have been having a blast with Coldasice.tv this year It became exactly what we wanted it to be, fun chicks and skiing", said Pro Skier and Cold As Ice Girl, Grete Eliassen, when asked about the project.
ColdAsIce.TV has achieved great success in their first season of production. The girls of Cold As Ice TV have done some amazing things this season on and off the slopes, pushing the boundaries of women’s skiing and female actions sports in general. When asked about ColdAsIce.TV’s part in progressing female sports, Meg said, “Being a part of ColdAsIce this year has been an amazing opportunity to spread the love of skiing, especially women's skiing. We have gotten an enormous amount of positive feedback from what we have been putting out, which is the best feeling… to know that people are appreciating what you are doing.”
The entire ColdAsIce.TV crew would like to thank their sponsors for their support throughout the season. With the support of sponsors like GoPro, http://WIDSIX.com ( http://widsix.com/ ), WebItDesigns.com, Discrete Headwear, and Flylow Gear, ColdAsIce.TV will be around for a long time and continue to build on the success of their first 50 edits. When asked about his feeling on the project, Dan Abrams, Founder of Flylow Gear, kept it short and sweet, "Congrats CAI... here's to another 50".
Founder of Discrete Headwear – DiscreteHeadwear.com, Pro Skier Julian Carr said, “Any project that garners Keri Herman and Grete Eliassen obviously knows what's up! Long live coldasice.tv!” The ColdAsIce.TV crew
“I’d say something about how great the project has been, how great the other sponsors (GoPro, Discrete, and Flylow Gear) have been or how much WIDSIX loves being involved with 3 sick ski chicks like Grete, Meg and Keri, but Julian pretty much summed it up for us”, stated Roope, President of WIDSIX.com, a presenting sponsor of ColdAsIce.TV.
