Syntheri Rocks, a popular sight in Dandeli, will make you marvel at the magic nature can perform. It is a mammoth 300ft granite rock placed right in the heart of the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, on the banks of river Kalindi, a small river that eventually merges into the river Kali. The rocks are famous for naturally formed curvatures. Its incredible beauty is highlighted even more by a small waterfall that flows into a deep and rocky narrow valley. The crocodile park, located in the outskirts of Dandeli, is another popular tourist attraction in Dandeli. Shivram Patil, the man credited with building this park, is passionate about creating a safe habitat for the crocodiles, where they can live and procreate without any threat. He also shows us how whistling can be a great way of communicating with the crocodiles.
Join us in an extravagant nature’s trail and capture the best of Dandeli, only on “Sutti Vasool” at 1:30pm and 6:30 pm on Sunday 5th June 2011 only on IBN-Lokmat.
