Actual Tools, a leading developer of multiple monitor software, has released a new version of Actual Multiple Monitors, their award-winning multi-monitor utility. The new version 3.2 has full support for Windows 7 task management features.
The Taskbar has been significantly improved in Windows 7 with such handy features as Pin, Peek, Jump Lists and live thumbnail previews. However, it is only available on the primary monitor so users are unable to take advantage of these great features while working with windows located on secondary monitors.
Actual Multiple Monitors 3.2 is the only software which supports all new taskbar features in full on multiple monitors. Taskbars on secondary displays look and act exactly the same as the system one: Start button, notification area, Show Desktop button, thumbnail previews with the Peek ability, are now available on each monitor. Secondary taskbars even have such fine details as:
- control buttons in previews (such as Play/Pause/Forward/Back for Windows Media Player),
- notification icons on application buttons (such as Online/Away statuses for Live Messenger),
