The own bot goes over about a billion pages per day. The data about backlinks is available in real time with a short delay. In 5-10 minutes after bot has visited the page, gathered info is available for analysis. The bot crawling order of sites is based on flow rating - depending not only on links quantity, but also on quality (who links).
