"Previously there were persistent problems in using the reporting tool on the Java platform, because their interaction was impossible, - says Aleksey Pchelnikov, project manager of Reports.Fx for Java. - But problems exist to solve them. It is now possible to enrich Web and Desktop applications with the functionality of Stimulsoft Reports.Fx product line".
Report generation in Java is not a problem any more thanks to the available report designers: a full-featured standalone report designer (created using Adobe AIR technology), the report designer for launching in a browser window (web component) and from a Java application (swt component). That is, full administration report can be created directly from an application or in the browser window. The Ribbon user interface is chosen to provide maximum convenience since it is commonly used in up-to-date applications. There is no need to get used to the new interface - the user can proceed to creating reports immediately.
The designer supports all essential functions: visual reports designing, copy/paste, drag and drop, zoom and a lot of other features. Almost all interface items are provided with tooltips with explanatory text, in order to prevent any difficulties. Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for Java can be easily integrated into a Java application. Besides, Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for Java is suitable not only for client-server applications, but also for Desktop ones.
In addition to this, one of the main features is that reports created in Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for Java are fully compatible with reports designed in other report generators of Stimulsoft Reports and Stimulsoft Reports.Fx product lines. The user can create and edit reports without worrying if they will work in other reporting tools of Stimulsoft. It is also possible to use the importing utility for converting reports created by third-party report generators.
