What is R4 DS?
R4 DS cartridge is the current top-of-the-line in DS SLOT-1 flashcard. It is made by famous r4ds.com in 2008. R4 DS is also called R4 card or R4DS, it is an amazing device with same size as original DS card. R4 DS card setup method
To run R4 DS, you need a MicroSD memory card to store the R4 DS kernel and game files. You also need a USB reader/writer for connection with computer.. (the USB reader can be find in the package, but you have to pay for Memory card).
1. Download the latest R4 Kernel to compuer from official website (r4ds.me) or our download page.
2. Unzip the patch, you can get 2 files: the "__rpg" and "_DS_MENU.DAT"
3. Connect the MicroSD card to computer through the USB reader, format the MicroSD card.
4. Copy the 2 files to the root directory of Memory card;
5. Also, copy and Paste some Game ROMs into root directory of Memory card.
6. R4 DS setup finished. Put R4 DS card with TF card to the NDS console, power on to play.
