Millburn/Short Hills Realtor Sue Adler has received national attention for her newly designed and developed website, sueadler.com. On July 15, Adler’s website became the focus of a special spotlight article published by Diverse Solutions, which is a company specializing in developing innovative real estate technology solutions.
Adler’s website is a central gathering place for people interested in Millburn/Short Hills Real Estate and surrounding New Jersey real estate. Bringing the focus on New Jersey homes in “her” towns of Summit, Maplewood, South Orange, Livingston, Chatham, Madison, New Providence, Berkeley Heights, and Westfield, Sueadler.com was recognized by Diverse Solutions for a number of reasons. The site’s use of a cutting edge interactive map which allows visitors to gauge commute times, distinct colors contrasting against white space, custom quick search options and down-to-earth, interesting community videos all help her new website to deliver the best tool possible to search real estate in New Jersey. Adler’s use of the interactive commute map was praised for providing clear instructions and community information, and her careful balance of white space with basic, straight forward, bright colors was praised for ease of use.
“Clean design like this is easy to navigate, and allows Sue to guide visitors to perform certain actions with just a little color,” said Diverse Solutions’ Robert Larson. “You’ll notice every blue and green item on her site is either a section title, or more often, a call to action.”
Adler’s website received further praise for its use of custom quick search tools, including oversize input boxes, quick links to certain communities and an oversized search button providing a clear call to action when finding a New Jersey home. Her short 3 to 4 minute videos also garnered praise for the helpful information and interviews they contain.
“Interviews with local people in each video gushing about their neighborhood really adds a warm and personal touch, along with a sense that Sue really cares about these communities,” continued Larson.
Diverse Solutions recognized Adler’s website in its article in an effort to help other real estate agents develop an effective and innovative sites to represent their businesses. In creating her website, Adler hired real estate website firm Virtual Results, from Laguna Beach, California.
“Jim Marks and the Virtual Results Team have been awesome to work with. And the community videos were really fun to put together,” said Adler. “Most of our business is relocation – people move out to our Midtown Direct towns from NYC, Hoboken, and aren’t sure which town they want to live in, so that was the whole premise behind the site… providing people the information they need to make a decision they are comfortable with.”
