World Wide Web June 30th, 2011: Attanolearn.com in association with BBC Knowledge India will host the ‘Tell us what you did this summer’ online contest for students where they can showcase their special projects.
The first prize includes a Sony PS3 video game console and a free 1 year subscription of the BBC Knowledge Magazine. Winners will also receive a goody bag of games and stationary and a digital watch courtesy Attano. All participants will be entitled to a free account at attanolearn.com.
The submissions will be judged by an expert panel of Judges at attanolearn.com and BBC Knowledge Magazine.
The contest will run from the 1st of July 2011 to 31st of July 2011.
Last Year, Arjun Verma, a class XIIth student from The Doon School Dehradun, was declared the winner of the ‘Tell Us What You did this summer’ contest. His entry “Building a Talking Robot” won him an iPad and other prizes. According to Arjun “The contest has given me an opportunity, to showcase my love for robotics, and I enjoyed taking part in it”.
This contest gained tremendous popularity among young web users last year. More than 1,500 students from all over India had registered for the contest.
