"Each occasion has been an opportunity to make me even more aware of what the Swedes really appreciate about our island. I thoroughly enjoy every trip to Sweden and am proud to be Maltese and promote Malta as the ideal retirement destination"
John Huber, Managing Tax Consultant for John Huber and associates Malta, recently effected presentations in Stockholm ,Malmö and Gothenburg with the focus to promote Malta as the ideal destination for retirement. Malta is becoming more and more popular with the Swedes and interest is this small historic Mediterranean island is growing. The reasons are many – besides the fact that Malta is in the Euro zone and offers the most attractive fiscal incentives for retirees , Malta’s very rich culture and heritage , its weather , the Mediterranean sea, its people, European flair and the fact that English is an official language have spurred further interest in the island.
Speaking at one of the events John Huber commented “Although I often have been requested to effect presentations in Sweden, each occasion has been an opportunity to make me even more aware of what the Swedes really appreciate about our island. I thoroughly enjoy every trip to Sweden and am proud to be Maltese and promote Malta as the ideal retirement destination. “
‘ Swedes and Maltese have many common likings including sailing , eating good food, drinking good wine and enjoying the cultural heritage .Swedes have integrated very well in Malta and are greatly liked by the Maltese.’ continued Mr Huber.
