Izzi’s solution to an age old problem, Cooling bath water.
Izzi acrylic whirlpool factory introduces a new high efficiency Whirlpool tub that saves 38 percent of energy cost over the average 30 minute bath. This is accomplished by combining the Syllent heat pump and Izzi's, high efficiency insulation system.

Clermont, Florida - Izzi has addressed an ongoing consumer concern about energy waste and water waste as large bathtubs and whirlpool bathtubs become the norm as opposed to the exception. The company president, Lonny Izlar, stated that "people love a good hot bath an that is unlikely to change. What can change is the way the industry has previously ignored the energy loss and water wasted reheating the cooling bath water."
According to Mr. Izlar, 98 percent of bathtubs in the united States are non-insulated forcing bathers to continuously add hot water to maintain the bath water temperature. This waste 10 gallons of fresh water per bath and an average of 50 cents of electric cost. Additionally, the fresh water consumed to generate the power that is needed to heat this wasted water, requires 30 gallons of cooling that is consumed by the power plants. .
Izzi new whirlpool systems use a new pump design by Syllent that uses the wasted heat energy from the pump motor coils to heat the water. This new system, in combination with the Izzi's insulation foam, virtually eliminates the need to add additional hot water.
Izzi will begin offering the new pump and foam system in September 2011. The new high efficiency whirlpool tubs are going to be comparable in cost to Izzi's Existing foam insulated whirlpools and is estimated to be 50 percent more efficient.
Mr. Izlar states "I am particularly proud of the fact that Izzi is addressing a real industry problem an doing so in a way that saves the consumers electric expenses and water. I would also like to encourage consumers not to overdo the size of their bathtub. Bigger is not always better when selecting your hydro therapy whirlpool tub. "
