Lisle, IL, September 06, 2011 - To help people improve their number one way to build and maintain relationships, networking authority Lillian Bjorseth, president of Duoforce Enterprises, Inc., is offering face-to-face networking skills classes in two Chicago, IL suburban locations this fall.
The first class will be from 9 am–12 noon Sept. 27, 2011 at Directions Training, Oak Brook, IL. Cost is $115 and includes Bjorseth’s book, Breakthrough Networking: Building Relationships That Last, now in the third edition.
On Oct. 17, 2011, she will teach relationship-building skills from 9 am–12 noon at North Central College, Naperville IL. Cost is $125, plus $21.95 for the book.
“People like to do business with and hire people they know and trust. One of the surest ways to get people to know and trust you is to meet them in person. A virtual handshake can’t replace a real one, and a smiley face will never be the same as a real smile,” Bjorseth said.
“I’ll help participants determine their target market and where to meet them, develop trust, start and end meaningful conversations with ease, develop a written relationship-building plan, construct an effective Verbal Business Card, follow up and much more,” Bjorseth said.
Bjorseth is an award-winning professional speaker, trainer and coach who has helped tens of thousands of people nationwide boost their business and enhance their careers. She received the 2011 Wordsmith Award and was named 2010 Member of the Year by the National Speakers Association-IL Chapter. She was named 2009 Outstanding Chicago Speaker by Red Carpet Concierge. She is co-founder of the Greater Chicago Networking Extravaganza, the 11th of which will be in May 2012.
