DiscountMugs.com, the leading factory-direct distributor of promotional products in the country, has recently reviewed its customer complaints in an effort to “shore up mistakes” and “discover false sources” according to their CEO Amin Rahman. This Miami-based promotional product distribution company performed an audit of its customer service department and searched through complaints filed on multiple websites. This customer service audit was performed to enhance customer service for DiscountMugs.com large clientele.
DiscountMugs.com ships around 100,000 promotional products a day and acquires 600 new customers daily and despite these large numbers was only able to find a little over a dozen customer complaints. DiscountMugs.com reviewed several sites like Complaintsboard.com, Rip Off Report, pissed consumer and more to find complaints and get more details on the specific orders. These sites are less formal than TrustLink.org which is sponsored by the reputable Better Business Bureau (BBB), but DiscountMugs.com still used these sites to improve its customer service.
After discovering a total of fifteen complaints on these sites DiscountMugs.com contacted the complaint filers to get a more comprehensive explanation of their orders & to see if they are legitimate. They then offered the complaint filers a 100 percent refund for their cooperation in fixing order problems. DiscountMugs.com was able to acquire order numbers from less than 10% of those who filed complaints which CEO Amin Rahman sees as “clear evidence that the other complaints were false and filed by competitors”. Customer review sites have recently come under scrutiny for lack of moderation when it comes to competitors filing false reports.
DiscountMugs.com just recently received an “A+” rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and has a 99% positive review rating with the BBB’s affiliate online network TrustLink.org. In other news, DiscountMugs.com was rated Top 100 Minority Businesses in Miami and recently extended free shipping for all of its promotional pen products through the rest of 2010.
