Sales Results Fast, a Minneapolis MN based sales training and consulting firm, announced a new classroom training for September, 2011. Richard Garvey, President of the firm indicated this half day class would be focused on phone prospecting entirely. According to Mr. Garvey this is the most requested subject for training from their customers. “Most salespeople dislike using the phone to prospect,” says Garvey. “If you were in a room with one-hundred salespeople and asked how many of them preferred to prospect by telephone you might get one hand up,” Garvey continues.
The firm’s Vice-President, Allan Giese indicated these sales training classes are entertaining and highly effective classrooms because they engage the salesperson and get them out of their element, at least temporarily. “The feedback and response we get from our customers to these phone prospecting classrooms is always really positive,” Giese adds.
