Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) is offering its USB enabled RFID reader/writer for verification and programming of RFID tags and labels, personnel identification and access control to computers or terminals. It is also ideal for Point-of-Sales (POS) applications or use with similar data entry instruments and many other applications for supply chain, retail, or logistics.
This hot-pluggable RFID reader/writer, model 223015, is designed for the desk-top and is available for both HF (13.56 MHz) and LF (125 kHz) RFID frequencies. The dual frequency reader is compatible with the following transponder protocols: ISO 156931-class unique number,1-Code™, 1-Code SLI, my-D, my-D secure, ISO 14443A, mifare®, ISO 14443B unique number in HF mode and HID®, proxEntry®, HITAG2, EM4002/4102 in LF mode.
Featuring a mouse-sized design, it is easy to carry and convenient to use. This RFID reader/writer reads and writes tags at a distance of up to 70 mm dependent on the type and size of the tag. It can be connected to any standard USB port for data transmission as well as for power supply.
In addition, its simple LED indicators immediately verify the status of the RFID transponder within its read range of approximately 3 cm.
This portable RFID reader/writer belongs to GAO's family of Healthcare Asset Tracking Readers.
