Toronto, Canada - GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com), a global supplier of Embedded Modules, has launched its high frequency RFID reader module, which provides a solution to upgrade from magnetic stripe readers to RFID technology. It is widely used in access control, security devices and Auto-ID data collection.
This high performance HF RFID reader module, model 713003, allows existing installations to retain most of their hardware infrastructure and change to more secure RFID technology.
It operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and offers a read/write range of 20 to 50 mm with ISO 14443A Mifare MF1/Ultralight compliant cards. This low power consuming reader module has passed CE and FCC certification and provides MSR ABA Track 2, Wiegand 26 bit, serial TTL interface for data communications.
The module has a built in antenna and requires no external antenna. In addition, it has a minimal power requirement of only 5 V DC, 55 mA and provides several frequencies and RFID coding options for selection.
This HF RFID reader module belongs to RFID Embedded Modules. This line of RFID embedded modules are easy to integrate into many LF/HF RFID applications.
