Steelwedge, the leader in cloud-based sales and operations planning (S&OP) and integrated business planning (IBP) solutions announced today the hiring of four seasoned executives to support the company's growth and further deepen its commitment to customer satisfaction.
Glen Margolis, Chief Executive Officer of Steelwedge, announced the appointments of Pier Barattolo, Vice President of North American Sales; Lisa Betlem, Senior Vice President of Global Services; Roger Nessier, Vice President of Global Support and Customer Adoption; and Roger Thomas, Vice President of Global Services.
“These four outstanding executives round out our industry-leading management team and will help provide the vision, discipline and operational experience we need to continue to support our customers and grow profitably," said Margolis.
Pier Barattolo comes to Steelwedge from Right90 where he Vice President of Sales and drove rapid customer growth. Prior to Right90, Barattolo was Vice President of North American EPM sales for SAP Business Objects, where he helped grow annual license revenue by 82 percent, Regional Manager at IBM Cognos, and Divisional Vice President at Adaytum where he helped drive sales from $1 million to over $64 million. Pier has also held executive positions at Rolls Royce and General Electric.
Lisa Betlem comes to Steelwedge from Model N where she was Vice President of Global Services, enabling high tech and life sciences companies to capture lost revenue and improve gross margins. While at Model N, she increased practice margins by 49 percent and grew services bookings from $4 million to $32 million per year. Prior to Model N, Betlem was Global Managing Director at Navis where she grew services revenue to $32 million and drove over $12 million in additional license revenues. Prior to Navis, Lisa was the Vice President of Consulting at Savi Technology and a Senior Practice Manager at Ernst & Young.
Roger Nessier comes to Steelwedge from Symphony Services where he was a founding executive and Vice President of Products and Services. He helped grow the company from 80 to over 4,000 employees and worked with over 300 software companies to deliver India-based software development. Prior to Symphony, Roger was Vice President of Development at i2 Technologies where he managed a global team of 150 engineers and was responsible for the development and customization of complex sourcing and supply chain applications.
Roger Thomas comes to Steelwedge from Savi Technology, a Lockheed Martin Company, where he held leadership positions in professional services, product management and marketing. While at Savi, he led the program management office for services and was responsible for managing three major product releases. Prior to Savi, Thomas was a Director at Extricity and a Senior Consultant with Accenture where he focused on solving supply chain challenges.
